One of the most common reasons why people seek therapy ..... .... is for help with stress and anxiety. Stress can come in many forms that make us feel nervous, apprehensive, angry or frustrated, whilst anxiety can be considered a combination of fear, dread, worry, uneasiness or even despair.
A little stress and anxiety now and again can actually be good for us, it helps us to 'get the job done', 'pass that test'
or help us to make important decisions. However, too much stress or anxiety can have a detrimental effect, not only on our mental capabilities
but also on our physical bodies. For example, chronic stress can lead to depression or health problems such as heart disease or obesity.
