One of the most common reasons why people seek therapy .....

.... is for help with stress and anxiety. Stress can come in many forms that make us feel nervous, apprehensive, angry or frustrated, whilst anxiety can be considered a combination of fear, dread, worry, uneasiness or even despair.

A little stress and anxiety now and again can actually be good for us, it helps us to 'get the job done', 'pass that test' or help us to make important decisions. However, too much stress or anxiety can have a detrimental effect, not only on our mental capabilities but also on our physical bodies. For example, chronic stress can lead to depression or health problems such as heart disease or obesity.
Whilst ongoing anxiety can lead or develop into disorders, such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) General Anxiety Disorder (GAD) or other health issues such as anxiety attacks, irrational fears, or anticipatory anxiety. This list is by no means exhaustive.

Hypnotherapy can help to overcome stress and anxiety, including its' related disorders, by reprogramming the mind to form new positive associations, changing limiting beliefs and behaviours, and removing the triggers which prompt the fear reaction.

As you are unique, your hypnotherapy treatment will be tailored to suit your specific needs and requirements and can therefore range from anywhere between 2 or more sessions. This will be entirely dependent on the initial consultation. The initial consultation and treatment session will last approximately 120 minutes with further sessions lasting approximately 60 minutes.

Please see the price guide for treatment cost.
