Personal & Developmental Coaching

What is coaching?

Coaching is often referred to as a form of training in which someone is helped and supported in achieving a desired goal or outcome. It also helps in dealing with issues or problems.

Coaching is beneficial for:

  • Relationship Issues
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Personal Development
  • Professional Development
  • Health Related Problems
  • Life Skills

The above list is by no means exhaustive.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss any issues not mentioned here

Coaching and Mentoring are aimed at maximising potential, and as such .....

... I have developed my own style of personal and developmental coaching as well as mentoring, based on years of experience and training which includes Clinical and Cognitive (Wordweaving) Hypnotherapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

Clinical and Cognitive Hypnotherapy

Clinical and Cognitive Hypnotherapy are both forms of psychotherapy, and each use a mixture of advanced methods including Cognitive and Behavioural Psychology and NLP to effectively support changes in how we think and feel.

Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

Solution Focused Brief Therapy, works on the principle of solution building rather than problem solving. Helping you to identify positive directions for change based on past successes and achievements, however small, and building on them with support, to visualise or imagine a preferred future for yourself.

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Motivational Interviewing focuses on resolving conflicting thoughts and ideas by supporting changes that are appropriate to your own values, beliefs and principles. MI doesn't impose change, but rather encourages you to identify, examine and resolve your problems or issues. Thus, enabling you to use your own motivation and commitment in seeking and facilitating change.
