I love my work and I hope it shows .....

I have been interested in Hypnotherapy for many years since I had a course of Hypno-Analysis following a bereavement which helped me to deal with my grief. However, it wasn't until 2011, after my sister qualified as a Hypnotherapist and helped me to overcome an anxious time in my life, that I realised just how powerful and supportive Hypnosis can be in any area of our lives. I am deeply passionate about the benefits of Hypnotherapy and have been privileged to support many people in changing their lives for the better.

I trained in Wrexham under the guidance and tuition of David Collingwood-Bell, a Senior Clinician of the National Council for Hypnotherapy and Training Director for the UK Academy for Therapeutic Arts and Sciences. It was here that I gained my Diploma in Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis along with my NLP certification. I have also since trained as a Wordweaving Practitioner in Cognitive Hypnotherapy developed by Trevor Silvester, one of the key figures and leading experts in the theory and practice of modern hypnotic language.

I am also a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the National Society of Hypnosis, Psychotherapy and Mindfulness (NSHPM) and as such abide by their strict codes of practice, including conduct and ethical considerations. Both the NCH and the NSHPM ensure that members have undergone extensive training to a very high standard, in addition to Continued Professional Development (CPD).

This level of training, together with my passion for working with people, complements my practical skills. This enables me to achieve an understanding of my clients' requirements and needs. During my previous career I gained considerable experience working on a one-to-one basis as a Mentor, Coach and Behaviour Manager in Secondary education.

My Certificates in Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Motivational Interviewing were achieved during this time. My qualifications, experience and knowledge enable me to build effective, professional relationships with my clients, whilst helping them to feel comfortable and at ease, and of course supporting them in their quest for positive change.
