Hammie Hamster
Well I started my radio career way back when. I was still in school, and a teacher took me to see my local hospital radio station, WHBS, in Weston Super Mare. I got hooked. I got involved with station engineering there, first and that led later to presenting.
I then moved to Bristol, and got involved in BHBS, yep you guessed it, their hospital radio. Where I learnt more, engineering and presenting skills, with the help of their engineers. I also did a few (read lots), of courses, that BBC Radio Bristol did back then.

I guess my heroes in the industry are in no particular order, Alex Lester, Radio 2; Steve Wright Radio 2; Kenny Everett and Chris Tarrant.
