What Hypnotherapy is and isn't......

Hypnotherapy

In a nutshell, hypnosis works by altering the state of consciousness in such a way that the questioning, analytical left side of the brain becomes quiet, and the non-critical, receptive right side becomes more alert.

Hypnotherapy is not the scary, mind controlling condition that some still believe, but in fact a scientifically proven, safe therapy that involves the induction of a deeply relaxed (trance) state that when induced, gently holds the client in an enhanced state of awareness and not a deep sleep as perceived by many.

Whilst the conscious part of the mind is quiet, the subconscious mind is awoken.

Whilst in this deep, instinctive state of consciousness, the therapist is able to reorganise or alter the clients old behaviours or unwanted belief patterns.

An example of this would be if a client has a deep fear something, they may have tried everything they can think of to overcome it but will fail time and again because their unconscious mind still retains the terror of that fear, which in turn stops them succeeding.

Only by reorganising the subconscious part of the brain can deep seated instincts and beliefs be changed or eliminated altogether.

If you like the sound of Hypnotherapy and would like to try it yourself then you have certainly come to the right place.
